Most advice about golf bags starts with features. We'd start with two questions instead. Your answers tell you more than any spec sheet.

First: how do you want to play?

Walking, or riding?

It sounds simple, but it shapes everything. A walking round is its own kind of golf. The pace, the quiet, the feeling of carrying your own game round the course. If that's the golf you love, you want a bag made to be carried: light on the shoulder, easy to live with over eighteen holes.

If you ride more than you walk, a different bag suits you better, and we make those too. This story is about the walk.

Second: what's your taste?

Do you already own things that were made properly? Leather that ages well, pieces built by hand to last. Or is that the kind of thing you're drawn to.

Some golfers want the newest technical kit. Others want fewer, better things they'll keep for years. Neither is wrong. But it quietly decides which bag belongs to you.

If you answered walking, and made properly, then the Links was made for you.

Why we made the Links

We wanted a bag for the golfer who walks and who cares how things are made.

So the Links is handcrafted in New Zealand from full-grain leather, built to be carried and built to last. The sort of bag that looks better in its tenth season than its first. It carries a full set of clubs at 2.4kg, so the walk stays a pleasure rather than a chore.

It also stands up to you. The integrated legs hold the bag upright and tilt your clubs toward you, so you're not stooping to a bag lying on the ground every time you need a club. Over a full round, your back feels the difference.

We didn't set out to make the most technical bag on the market. We set out to make one worth keeping. If you value that in the rest of your life, you'll feel it here.

Who it's for

The golfer who walks by choice. Who would rather own one bag that lasts than replace a cheaper one every few seasons. Who notices how a thing is made. If that sounds like you, the Links was made with you in mind.

And if you ride most of your rounds, the walking bag isn't the one for you. Our Uforia range is built for exactly that, and we'll get to it in the next piece.
